A question about your local Tea Party, no matter where you live

I'm trying to understand how the Tea Party holds its considerable influence.

Do you know of any Tea Party gathering or public meeting that was attended by more than a dozen self-identified Tea Party members in the last 90 days?

I couldn't name one if I had to.

If the Tea Party is so small why keep talking about it old toothless one? Project much?

Of course the mountain man primitive, who like all men, nightly pitches his tent one day's march nearer the mausoleum, couldn't name one if he had to.

His memory rotted before his teeth did.

It happens.

Well, you know how the primitives can be unreasonable in their paranoia.

However, in the case of the Tea Party, it's probably a good idea for the primitives to be paranoid about that.

Of course they are, among other things including this stupid notion that franksolich stalks them.

But in the case of the Tea Party, the paranoia of the primitives is reasonable.

And about us. We listen to Rush for three hours every day, we do whatever he suggests, and we all have guns.
But of course, unlike DUmp democrats, we're all decent and civilized people.

It's primitive projection.

Because some primitives haven't respected boundaries, and stalked franksolich in real life, the primitives think franksolich stalks them.

The primitives forget that just because one person does something, doesn't mean the other person does that same thing, too.

Sort of like since the Democrats commit election fraud, they assume Republicans do too.

Which of course is a pile of pig manure bigger than the William Rivers Pitt here.

You're going to tell me that members of a group that preaches economic liberty don't have time to gather for constant rallies?!  I'm shocked!  Here's a clue, dimwits: I haven't attended a Tea Party rally yet, because I'm usually at work, but I darn sure am a Tea Partier at heart.

In NJ the Tea Party gathers on days like Tax Day, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. They know their membership has to work so they choose days they'll most likely be off.

Yeah I love how the left thinks they have so many more people than we do, because they have bigger protests lasting for days and days, when in reality the people who are worried about govt spending are the ones working, if we could all hop on buses and storm state capitals for days on end, who would be out there earning the money for the govt to squander?
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

As it does all men, of course.
But if you've spent your life cursing the name of God, and promoting things that are abominations in His sight,
I'll bet the stealthy approach of Death feels a lot more sinister.

Even committed heathens like DUmp democrats must have fears lurking somewhere in the back of their minds
about the price they may soon have to pay.

Hi Thommy! It's me, I'm back again!!!!  Greetings from a fellow WVian. Last 90 days? Idiot. Tea Parties usually happen around here on April 15th. Sorry boy, but apparently you miss the Tea Party gathering at the state capital in Charleston every April 15th. I am down there a lot due to my job. There was way more than a dozen attending. I know boy... I was there. After I got done with my business I wandered over there. Now there weren't hundreds of thousands, but there were a large number. I'd say a couple 3 thousand. Last April wasn't attended all that well cause the weather really sucked. Kinda hard to have a gathering when you got driving rain and some nasty cold wind. The previous year had more cause the weather was better.

Now let's compare that to the tree hugger convention that was there a few weeks ago. Weather was perfect... 82 degrees, light breeze, and guess what boy? The organizers outnumbered the attendees. They even gave away hot dogs... only reason I went over there. Perky will listen to just about anything you give him a free lunch.

He's a gun-owner, and drives around in one of those really big flashy pick-up trucks that uses diesel.

And a sourpuss too; I'll never forget that campfire where even the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive got on his case for being rude.

I know the type Frank. Probably got dual rear wheels on his truck and overhead lights that blind your ass on the interstate. All waxed and polished up. Takes up two parking spots where ever he parks. Just like the idiots that have the big tires on their trucks and go 1 MPH over a railroad track crossing. Talks/acts a big game, no substance.

Real WVians usually have a beat up old truck that is used for work or for mudding... and that is why it's beat up. Their "good" vehicle is for his wife and kids. We can spot these idiots a mile away. They are not well liked around here.

In the beginning of the Tea Party movement, rallies (as big as possible) were necessary for people to know that they weren't alone in their thinking.  Since the Nov 2010 election, we don't feel a need to have huge, frequent rallies.  We work the political system and social network instead.  It's just the evolution of a movement, is all.

The primitives have perceptual problems with "movements" and "revolutions."

The primitives think such things are done only on the streets, with people carrying big signs, yelling and screaming, and throwing bottled piss at policemen.

Plenty of movements and revolutions--if not in fact the vast majority of them--happen in ways different than that.

But they're primitives after all, with stunted cerebral cells and blinded vision.
