Responding to our earlier questions, the LVL has posted photos at his cult doctor's forum to prove he's moved below the quarter-ton mark. He looks normal. Why no effort to land a job?

So here I am as of the end of June, at 339 pounds, standing in a hotel room doorway rather than at home. Please excuse the mummy wrappings on my feet. They look like crap but it's something I have to live with for now and the foreseeable future.

I would imagine half the guys in the casino are no more obese than the new svelte LVL, but nevertheless working is out of the question.
No 15EEEEEEEE shoes. So the taxpayers of Nevada can continue to support him, roommate Joe, and Jeanette, who seems to be the only person in the apartment willing to work.

Jeanette has her wedding band on the wrong finger. What's up with that?

He still makes three of her.

Keep it up. He looks better than he did. Before long, He can become a respectable man and stop living off of the sweat of his bride.

I've never bumped up into 250# territory but I've been close.  My dad spent most of his working life between 250-300 pounds and still got up every day.  My dad's got half a foot on me (6' 4) and probably more on the LVL.

There's not a damn reason this guy can't get out and find work.

Well, at 339 pounds, while fatboy may be three of his wife, he's only nine pounds shy of being two franksolichs.

Okay, I went over to see if the big boy made any political comments.

Among other things, the big boy's had some problems with too-loose, and then too-tight, bowels.

Their friend Joe moved with them to the new apartment; one wonders what's up with that.

They had to ditch their bed and that recumbent thing (whatever that was) when they moved because of bedbugs.  They're slumbering on the floor at present.

He alleges to still be having problems with moving the shoulders.....something that can be quickly and easily remedied if he were to take a job as bellboy.  Las Vegas has lots and lots of hotels; surely there's some bellboy openings.  And probably the tips are good too.

I'm sure tips could be very lucrative.  Assuming of course you don't look, smell and act like a denizen of Skinner's Island of misfit ****-ups.  Open yer soup cooler and SOUND like a primitive on top of all that, and all bets/tips are off.

Oh, I agree with your motives and general game plan, coach.  It's just that particular jobset that I wouldn't suggest to LVL.  Just like I wouldn't ever seriously submit my resume to be a chorus dancer for "Swan Lake"; it would be more self defeating than helpful, regardless of whatever mindset I may have carried into the job.

Getting LVL off the dole requires something where LVL's personal shortcomings aren't going to shoot his aspirations down right out of the proverbial starting gate.  A blow like that to his fragile ego would be something he'd never recover from.

Now, I must ask--would he seriously be better as a "nutritional consultant" than as a bellboy?

At least as a bellboy, he'd continue losing weight and get those shoulders lubricated.

If Matt Foley could make it as a motivational speaker whilst "living in a van, down by the river", then LVL might actually have a lucrative future ahead of him as a nutritional consultant.  Both are great examples within their chosen fields of what not to do.

Well now, you know of course that 99.98% of people who lose enormous amounts of weight will regain all of it plus another 50 within a short period of time. That makes the "nutritional consultant" career a possibility, if there are any sumo stables in Nevada.
