Somali militants vow to block aid groups

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Al-Qaida-linked militants in Somalia vowed to keep most international aid workers out of the country despite a worsening famine and the U.N. warned Friday that 800,000 children could die in the region from starvation.

Well this hardly seems like a good omen.  Wonder what Obie Wun will do about this, something I hope.  Damn.  (and use the http is rather ironic but it was news to me)

Start of war #4. Obama will want in for two reasons.
1) Muslims.
2) Skin color.

I'm sure he can call on the expert advice of Bill Clinton who did so well in the country.

While there is a clearer case to intervene here than in Libya, Somalia doesn't have anything we want and I don't support the Libyan cluster**** either.  My general opinion on Somalia is that it would be greatly improved by glassing everything within ten miles of the coast.

Trying to clean up the corruption in Africa is a task more herculean than cleaning out the Aegan stables.  And Obama is no Hercules.  More like a PeeWee Herman.

As for military intervention in Somalia, WHY?  We've got the template for what happened when Clinton sent in troops.  Another Democrat president, another failed military mission, as Obama will definitely NOT send in enough firepower, or exhibit enough willpower, to accomplish the mission.  Hell, he can't even get serious about defending our own southern border. :thatsright:

I agree. In my opinion, I will add reason number 3.
3) To put America into deeper debt.
