While the study was published in 2009 it appears to reference a 2006 Army contract for and all cost estimates are in 2007 dollars - which means they need to be "trebled" as John Asshat Kerry would say, to account for the inflation that we're not *wink, wink* experiencing.

This sounds like something called Operation Cable Splicer which has been around since 1975, maybe earlier. Google it and you will be shocked at what you discover. You can also check out Executive order 11490. That gives the president the ability to call a state of emergency and suddenly the government has the right to take over your money, property, send you to relocation camps and prevent you from leaving the US. I would provide links to both but I don't want to put something on here that causes someone to sue the site. But both are easily found by a yahoo or google search.

If the govt wanted to prevent citizens from leaving the US...wouldn't there be Democrat support for a wall on the border? or at least securing the border?

If you really want to get freaked out, do a search for "Rex 84". That's where the government has the power to suspend the constitution when they deem it necessary. It doesn't specify what is needed for them to implement it, so it's pretty open ended. We have no freedom. Our own (mine included) apathy has made sure that things like this can get passed without the public even knowing. There will be a New World Order one day, I'm just hoping I don't have to be around to see it.

Will You become a Wolfe among dogs, able to exit, survive, think for your self or a Dog that has become so tame you cannot survive without others to feed and care for you, train you to do their bidding  with no question ???????

Laugh it off all you want, but everything happening now was predicted over 20yrs ago. European economies are already collapsing and we are headed that way. Once it happens there will be a push for one world government. I thought it was crazy when I first heard of it, but it is happening as we speak.

Not Laughing unbiased, I just cannot see how this can happen as long as the quest for power is still human nature.

Who can lead this Order, conflict is what has shaped the world to the point it is at now.  Conflict is at the roots of human advancement.

As long as sons will attempt to take power from their fathers and brothers will battle each other for power, I cannot see how there can be a ONE WORLD ORDER----------

It would behoove the blue berets not to start showing up in southern neighborhoods. I know, they should start out in the rural areas first. Try Appalachia.  I hear they're real fond of outsiders. :whistling:

It's a two-year-old article about a 19-year-old program.  Have you seen the UN actually accomplish anything in the past 20 years, or do anything with this?  UN armed force operations are more typically the Dutch troops standing aside ineffectually while a bunch of Bosnians got massacred, or Pakistani troops failing to engage anything at all in Somalia, or the French taking advantage of a UN mandate in Ivory Coast to grab control of everything worth having for France under a blue flag and then let the butchery continue in the back country.

The only forces that might participate in any UN mission that are effective at all speak English, German, or Russian.  It ain't gonna happen with the English-speaking ones, the Germans are barely interested in sending forces overseas with NATO but not the UN, and the Russians are only interested in playing in the Slavic-speaking world, all for good reasons.  The Chinese have quite the modern Army these days, but have also made it abundantly clear they don't want any part of UN armed force operations any-damn-where.

Based on your response, I guess you don't think it exists? It is not a theory. It is fact. Here is a more recent article about it. It was written in February of this year. You can blow all of this off if you want, but doing that is helping create the problem. Look up Rex 84 and check out what happened when Oliver North was questioned about it during the Iran Contra hearings. I suppose you don't believe that either.

Actually, DAT's post was spot on. No nation would send their troops into the US to patrol. We're too armed, there's too many of us, and we're better at organizing than people like the Somalis, especially in terms of politics and love for region/state. The only way it would make sense is for American troops to don the blue berets, but even that wouldn't happen as the Constitution prohibits it and polls have consistently shown American GI's, by a majority, will not turn their weapons on their fellow citizens. If there's ever societal breakdown, troops will simply head back to their states to protect their families and you'll see militias popping up to protect the local municipalities and states. ...and no f'n UN goon is stupid enough to venture into that situation because it would make Somalia look like a day at Disneyland.

BTW, both DAT and myself are military veterans. DAT is a, IIRC, soon to be retired field-grade officer and I'm a former NCO.

Well, I hope you are right. I really hope you are right. But can anyone explain why the UN is buying American land? This stuff doesn't happen overnight. It is a long process and they are dismissing our constitution with Agenda 21 and Rex 84. It is not a theory, it is fact. I would like to know why they are buying our land.

That map is WAY wrong. I have an Indian Reservation just North of me in Oklahoma. It also doesn't show many of the military reservations. One for sure I know about is in MN and another in Central Wisconsin. It also doesn't show other military bases or reservations and Indian Reservations that are granted BY TREATY.

Where is the UN buying land in the United States?  I don't see it mentioned anywhere in either of the links you posted.

I remember when Japanese companies started buying real estate in the US during the 80's.  I saw the same kind of panic then.  And nothing has happened.

Like I said before, I hope this doesn't happen in my lifetime. Global things take a long, long time. But as far as going up against Americans on their own land, I have to disagree with you. They are already doing it by passing legislation. Global warming and environmental fears are how they are convincing people that it's okay. I don't think Americans will fight back because most either don't know this is happening or just don't believe it. I found an article about Agenda 21 that told how much land they have already bought in Florida, but I assume I will be told I am a CT if I post it. Do yourself a favor and look it up yourself and make your own determination. Someone said in an earlier post that they didn't believe this because it was a 19 year old bill. It takes time and happens slowly which is why people allow it. We will willingly give away our liberties if it is done slowly. Patriot Act, TSA, red-light cameras, DUI checkpoints........all in the name of "safety".
