Dear congressman
« on: July 21, 2011, 02:50:29 PM »
Hi Folks,

I live in the district of congressman Dennis Ross.  Sent him the following letter today and would urge everyone to write their member of the house.  Dick Morris predicts that their will be a compromise budget bill that passes the Senate and Boehner will bring it to the house and it will be voted down and "all hell will break loose"  Boy do I hope he is right.  Judge Napolitano wrote a terrific open letter to Boehner explaining that the House of Representatives is in effect the "people's house" and that is why they are elected every two years and indeed their message was clear in the last election.  If effect it is time for the house to start standing up for the people who hired them.

Now my feeling is Boehner got the bill through the house for political cover, he needs it to blow up in his face and see the compromise bill voted down......in other words it is time for congress to start taking the people of the United States seriously for a change.  God, I hope Morris is right.

Regards,

Dear Dennis,

I met you a couple times in Lakeland when you were running for the House.  It seemed to me at the time that you were right in line with the conservative values I believe in.

Now is going to be a good test.  The house passed the proper budget bill, demanding a balanced budget amendment.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE LEAD OF JOHN BOEHNER, STICK TO THE BILL THAT WAS JUST PASSED NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES.

We did not send you to congress to compromise ourselves into further debt, we sent you there to stop the insanity and now is the time to make the people's voice heard throughout the country.

The overwhelming majority of the new house members in the last election was a result of the people in this country rejecting the old tax and spend ways of politicians.  You told us you would be different, you would represent those of us who voted for you.

Stand firm, now is a good way to show us you are indeed listening to those who hire you and are representing us in congress.

BOEHNER AND HIS LIKE NEED TO GO, WE WANT A CONSERVATIVE CONGRESS.  THAT IS WHY MANY OF US HAVE CHOSEN TO MAKE CAMPAIGN DONATIONS DIRECTLY TO FOLKS LIKE YOURSELF INSTEAD OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Go get em!  The folks in central Florida are counting on you.

Best personal regards,

Excellent letter.

I agree. Excellent letter. The only thing I would say a little differently is:

Quote
... STICK TO THE BILL THAT WAS JUST PASSED NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES.

... stick to the Bill that was passed and keep sending it up no matter how many times its voted down and make the democrats defend those votes.

You just know that if the dems thought the Bill was so bad, they would be ripping it to shreds and ridiculing it line by line. But they're not. That speaks volumes.
Reagan bankrupted the Soviet Empire ...

Obama is bankrupting the American Republic

Hi,

Boy I hope it comes true.  We have all been burned so many times before, it is like we will believe it when we see it.

I feel the same way.  The proof is in the pudding as they say.
