End game scenario
« on: April 23, 2008, 07:17:01 PM »
One thing I will never do is doubt the power of the political machine that is the Clintons. But, it got me to thinking, what's up Hill's sleeves? Heaven knows we don't want to know what's down her.... ok, I won't go there... :uhsure:

But, I'd like to know what you think Hill's end game might look like.

I think she will win the Dem nomination and she will pick Obama to be her running mate. "Dream ticket" for some I suppose.

I really don't see that.  They both have egos too big and hussein would never accept #2 under her -- he wants to run again in 4 not 8 years.

No way in Hell, it seems, Messalina Agrippina would pick Barry "Goldwater" Obama as her running mate.

Messalina Agrippina wants to win the election, and so she'll pick up someone who can pull votes away from John McCain.  The left and the rabid left wouldn't have any choice but to vote for her anyway, so she can take them pretty much for granted without having to placate them with a rabid wild-eyed liberal running-mate.

The primitives of course could whine and moan, but who are the primitives?

I have this sense that Messalina Agrippina hasn't unloaded the Big One on Barry "Goldwater" Obama yet; I have no idea what the Big One might be, but I think she'd use it if makes the difference between her winning the Democrat nomination, and not winning it.

I'd kind of like to see her unload the Big One, drop the Big One, just to see what it is.

Whenever there is talk of Hillary dropping the Big One... I shudder. But I agree, she has not played all her cards as far as BO is concerned.

I think McCain should run with Gov. Bobby Jindal from Louisiana.

she is doing what the clintons do best;  she is forestalling her ultimate doom day by day, while
scanning the horizon for any event, any weakness, or any opening that she can twist, dishonestly
if necessary, to her own advantage.

the clintons are lethal when they are on the brink of extinction, which frequently seems to be the case,
probably because they are almost completely devoid of any intelligent thought whatsoever under what
most of us would consider to be normal or prosperous circumstances.

Hillary's Veep has to have one quality. He must not be threatening to her.
That means he will be a lackey, not invited to cabinet meetings, not expected to show initiative, or embarrass her.

She sure is a'fightin' for that nomination, and she's of the school that if there's a will, there's a way, her way.

McCain could pick the noob governor of LA, I'd go for young and conservative as the two biggest criteria. Agree that the jackasses will not be Hillary/Barack or vice-versa, no ways, no how - she will go for bland and deferential, think Vilsak or Bayh,

and the clintons won't hesitate for a second to destroy the dem party if it suits their personal
interests.  during the clinton administration, they prospered themselves, but their party lost both
houses of congress and most of the state legislatures and state houses in the country.  and even
the white house itself was unsustainable after he sullied the office so badly.

and the animosity between the clintons and howard dean is deep and old.  the clintons sent wes
clark into the dem primary as an anti-war candidate just to derail howard dean, who looked like a
real winner early in the primary process, and looked like he stood a real chance to unseat bush in
the general.  that would have been bad for hillary's chances of running until 2012, assuming dean
won the white house and ran for re-election.

I think you're absolutely right, the Clintons do what is best for the Clintons. America be damned.

It doesn't make sense from our point of view for her to have kept fighting this far, so I keep thinking she knows shit we don't know. Like maybe the superpeople have made her and her hubby promises from way back. She's not dumb...she wouldn't risk her reputation to lose. Go Hillary!! (and hello SChad )

I also hope she wins the nod from the Dems. Hey, how is the little angel? Post or PM pictures if you get a chance.

I see a push to be able to claim an edge or at least parity in the popular vote, and she has already fited the first salvo on that target; if she can do that, then she has a credible avenue to win with superdelegates.  No way is the Messiah going to be playing second fiddle for her.
