Online petitions don't work.

But the idea is correct. Maybe we need AngreyResponsibleMortgageHolders.com

Home ownership is a privilege not a right.

Mine was earned through blood, sweat and tears.  I gutted this place nearly 90% while working 2 jobs to finance it and the repairs as a single parent.  It's still a work in progress.

One day, eleven years ago (when I bought this house) my sister stopped by.  I was on the roof inspecting the gutters and cleaning them.  As she got out of her car I hollered, "I am the queen of all I survey!"  I'll never forget the pride and sense of accomplishment that I felt/still feel.

When you work for/on something, you appreciate it more.

I like the idea of a petition, which is our right in the First Amendment. However, I am not all that optimistic. However, lenders should not be bailed out. They created the whole mess. They had the choice not to give mortgage to people.

If they do, they are opening to even a BIGGER problem down the road. It will only encourage more of this.

Grrrrrrrrr! Yes, we're pretty much powerless and screwed because the govt will do what's popular, not what's right.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.
-------------------------------------------------

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
