Andrew Breitbart...
« on: July 16, 2011, 01:33:52 PM »
... Re-tweeted one of my tweets and I instantly got a bunch of new followers.

 :rotf:

Not sure how many of those new followers are Breitbart haters.  Those people are so hateful.

Half of DU is probably stalking you now.   :rotf:

The other half is too stoned to realize what day of the week it is.

It's the weekend, more than 90% are probably stoned.

I just realized that I don't follow Andrew, I follow his Big Government and Big Hollywood tweets, but I stopped following Breitbart because all the psycho libs were taking over his Twitter.

Awesome comment EC! :cheersmate:

What was your comment? I don't tweet.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Breitbart posted about how some liberal wanted all Republicans to be dead.  So I replied, "if we were all dead, who would fund their welfare and food stamps."

Some liberal replied back to that saying the following:

@carleighsmama Nobody is getting foodstamps and welfare from you, you minimum wage baby maker.

:rotf:

I'm not sure what kind of insult that is suppose to be.

I'm not sure either. What is a "minimum wage baby" and how does one make them?
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

I believe those are the "Democratic Plantation specials," they come complete with a green card if needed, and full welfare benefits.

Sometimes they come up with a post that makes you just shake your head. there's no way in the world you can respond to that.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

That is awesome EC.  Andrew follows a ton of people, so to pick yours means he must pay attention to them.  I got a DM once from DeMint, but, it felt like it came from an aide.  I got a DM from Thad McCotter, and the snarky humor assured me he had not farmed out his twitter feed.

Thad McCotter appears on Redeye with Greg Gutfeld sometimes. He comes across as funny and likable albeit with a dry/wry sense of humor.

What is this "Twitter" of which you speak?

Seriously, I have HNC (and where the hell has HE been of late?) and one other follower.  That's IT.

I wouldn't know Twitter if it tweeted in my ear and whispered soft nothings. FB is already too much, though I get on that maybe once a week.

I love Twitter! I get tons of news from it by following things like Red State, Newsbusters, The Heritage Foundation etc.

Yeah.  Where has he been?  I was thinking about him the other day.

Like Ballygrl, I like to use my Twitter to read updates.  I follow The Blaze, Tammy Bruce, Sean Hannity, Fox News, etc.  That way I can click on things that interest me the most.
