Puhleeze, whiffleball, these are liberal leeches we're discussing here.
I know, I know, but I'm so damn sick of the excuses.
I was at my volunteer job Friday. I work the desk doing intake for those seeking utility, food and medicine assistance. It's funded by a church consortium and through sales of donated clothing and small household items. We take very, very little other money; some USDA food and a bit of United Way.
This is a rural area and the attitudes of those requesting help are far and away thankful and gracious. I've even had grown men sit and weep at my desk because it was the first time in their lives that they've ever asked for help. Unfortunately, we seem to be experiencing an influx of folks relocating from urban Atlanta with different mindsets.
We're getting "frequent flyers" who come in regularly with a list of things they want. If we don't give them every item on their list they become belligerent and demanding. We've had the race card pulled and thrown a few times which pisses me off to no end!
