​Here's an item with the potential for firing up enemies of political correctness:

New rules proposed by the Colorado Department of Human Services include a requirement that all day-care centers in the state make available dolls representing three different races.

The 98-page document, obtained by 7News, features a slew of rule changes. Among them: children over age two must not be served whole milk without a note from a doctor, kids over age one can't drink more than six ounces of juice per day, TV and computer time will be capped at twenty minutes daily, and staffers must wear clothes that cover their lap and shoulders. But arguably the most unusual suggestion pops up on page 77: "Dolls shall represent three (3) races."

Yanow they are aiming for Caucasion , black and hispanic.  How about pissing them off and using Asian, White, and Pacific Islander. .

I'm curious how they expect the day care centers to comply with this, without simultaneously opening themselves the lawsuits for "Racial Stereotyping" based on the features of the dolls they choose.

Oh that's right, lawsuits are exactly what the moonbats in this state want; too damned many of the ones who aren't perpetually committing welfare fraud to get by, are trial lawyers. :thatsright:

I really don't get the point.  The room my daughter is in doesn't even have dolls.  So would their facility be required to still purchase three different dolls of a different race?  Wouldn't that just raise the daycare rates?  This proposal is a waste of time.  So glad I do not live in Colorado.

Hispanics are not a race. I also thought they might be aiming at muzzies, which are also not a race.

The goal is to shutter small day care centers forcing more people onto the public school system, further funding the teachers unions and democrats.
