Some of the many similarities between Nazis and Republicans   Updated at 12:38 PM
   
Republicans strike me as Nazi Light. Actually, not even THAT light. How we've allowed this sort of creatures to exist, and still pretend they're simply normal right wingers, is beyond me. In any case, here are a few of the similarities between the two groups.

SIMILARITIES BETWEEN REPUBLICANS AND NAZIS:

1) The scapegoating of, and prohibition of unions;

2) Allowing the confiscation, removal and arrest based only on suspicion of acts 'against the state;'
the torture of mega-millions without trials;

3) Allowing corporations to use prisoners as free or nearly-free labor;

4) The torture and murder of anyone socialist, Communist, or in disagreement with right wing fascism;

5) The fooling of the population through propaganda, as well as deceptively named groups;

6) The promotion of certain groups (a uber-race, or a uber-group) to the exclusion of others;

7) The murder of mega-millions without trials;

8) A contempt for democracy (Hitler said Democracy was corrupt and soft, while Bush said being a dictator would be easier than being president);

9) The association of patriotic symbols as propaganda (so that anyone in disagreement with the regime could be scapegoated as 'unpatriotic');

10) The scapegoating of the poor, the colored, the unusual, the disabled, the helpless, the handicapped, the gay, the feeble-minded;

11) The use of religion to promote regime and thought control - xenophobia (God is seen as Republican, and German Nazis had belt buckles that read, “Gott Mitt Uns” (God is with us));
a love of war;

12) The use of distractions (Reichstag fire used to suspend liberties. GW Bush lied about WMDs in Iraq, so he could attack the country);

13) A love of radio propagated propaganda (nowadays we have that as well, hosted by many Joseph Goebbels);
a worship of authoritarians (strong, sociopathic leaders feigning patriotism, who are blindly followed by their followers, even when the truth is exposed);

14) No compassion; and,

15) The abolishment of abortion.

a little bit of searching will bring up the same sort of comparisons between Democrats and Nazis, as believed by Republicans.

There are any number of ways a particular group can be likened to another group.

What the Nazis did was vile. Like I said, I'm not a fan of RW nuts, but to vilify the whole party like that is really nasty. I thought Democrats were supposed to be better than that.

Have you actually ever read DU? If so how could you think that democrats are better than that.?

It goes back long before the Nazis, that was an Imperial tradition of the German Army, and was really no more nor less significant than "God Save the King/Queen" for the Brits or "In God we trust" for us. 

The SS, the actual hardcore Nazis, had an entirely different buckle motto ("Meine Ehre heisst Treue"), which translates to "My loyalty is my honor," an expression of total blind allegience to a temporal leader with no higher moral power in the picture at all, which would fit the Obamites on DU with a stunningly-total perfection.

Liberals and the scapegoating of Jews and Israel...just like the Nazis.
Liberals scapegoat Christians, the rich, conservatives, anyone who will not vote for them. Just like nazis.

2) Allowing the confiscation, removal and arrest based only on suspicion of acts 'against the state;'
Liberals will ignore acts against the state as long as its liberal based: Like the Black Panther voter suppression.
Or books and movies about assassinating President Bush.
___On the other hand...Who do they dream of arresting for imaginary Crimes? The Bush administration, Rush Limbaugh, all conservatives who oppose liberal power grabs.

Obama's rule by executive edict, and use of proxies in govt agencies. The distaste the left has for the constitution, and they hatred of having to live under it....Yep, look in the mirror, DU.

The Left's universal disgust at patriotic symbols, refusal to say the Pledge of Allegiance. The countless acts of hate against America by the left. The desire to outright destroy this country expressed in action and deed by the Obama administration....What symbol does the left embrace? the rainbow flag, a symbol of depravity...
But we dare not call them unpatriotic...

10) The scapegoating of the poor, the colored, the unusual, the disabled, the helpless, the handicapped, the gay, the feeble-minded;
All these groups but the gays will be denied health care. and all these groups are slated to be enslaved by monetary handouts from a democratic govt.
and let one black man step outside the liberal plantation and all sorts of racist language is acceptable if spewed at him by a liberal.

The true propaganda is in the mainstream media. The Left's reaction to free men speaking on the radio is dramatic proof that the left is totalitarian at heart.

Like the brutal police state being put together by the left...Remember the Department of Education's Swat Team hitting a wrong house? only a liberal would give a department like that a brutal enforcement team...

Actually, and I've used it several times as well, they incorporated both, Fascism and Socialism. Schindler was allowed to have his own business, but he had to create what the government wanted, I.e. textbook Fascism. He was also almost prosecuted as a war profiteer, but many Jews stepped up in his defense.

Both Fascism and Socialism exist on the leftist plane. For those jackasses to claim we're Nazis is asinine and completely devoid of reality, history, and fact. First they say we're for free market Capitalism and limited government, which we are, and next they call us Nazis. They DON'T MESH, but they're too Damn STUPID to realize it.

Socialism = Government controls the means of production
Capitalism =  The private sector controls the means of production
Fascism = The private sector controls the means of production, but it heavily regulated, controlled, and manipulated by the government
