Oh, sure, they live in public housing, fleece the taxpayers, use and deal illegal drugs, and have the occasional gunfight but they're "good people, really good people". Still, she'd like to move out...perhaps, next to you...

RICHMOND -- A gunfight that left three men dead in a townhouse living room stemmed from a drug deal gone awry, Richmond police said Sunday.

The sequence of the shootings remained a mystery, however, as police tried to unravel who shot whom while a 6-year-old played in the next room.

"There wasn't one aggressor. There were multiple guns and multiple shooters," said Richmond police Capt. Mark Gagan. "It's a very complicated crime scene, but we're pretty confident that everyone involved is either dead or in custody."

(snip)

One woman, who declined to give her name, described Sunday's shooting victims as quiet, "good, decent people."

"We looked after them, and they looked after us," she said. "They're good neighbors. But this is a bad neighborhood. There's shootings all the time."

JUST GOOD PEOPLE

Give me a break, perhaps the victims were good people, they just had the misfortune to have a black sheep in the family. Bad things happen to good people.

There are many elderly folks on SS that have lost all that must live in public housing,  Men and woman with a handicapped child that must quit work to care for the child. Not all on public assistance are drug dealers or monsters.

More and more people that commit crimes are being kicked out of public housing, where do they and family go, who knows.

The lists for housing is now over the family's and into the elderly that just need a studio apart on a ground floor, Veterans that are homeless, living on a small pension for disability's if that.

CG6, public housing is for the ones most in need, take a ride and spend a few hours speaking to those fortunate to get it,   Betcha unless you live in a big city you may have your eyes opened to those in real need and the small amount that are free loaders.
