White House’s Daley to Business Leaders: Stop Your Whining

White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley on Sunday said business leaders shouldn’t whine about Washington and instead urged them to speak up about the debt ceiling debate by pressing Congress for a “balanced approach” of spending cuts and revenue increases to reduce the deficit.

“What I say to the business community is, you complain and whine about the political system all the time, get involved,” he said on ABC’s “This Week.” “Get involved and make the statement about the fact that you need a balanced approach to solve our fiscal problems. It should not be solved on the backs of those that have given and are having a difficult time right now.”

What Mr. Daley is missing is that Obamacare is killing small business.   They will get involved come 2012 -- stop your whining is coming home to roost.

He's not missing anything; he just ignores the bad things. It's the Chicago dimbo way.

Every time businesses get involved, they're decried by liberals as greedy corporate masters unfairly influencing the democratic process.

So which is it, Daley?

Any business wanting taxes increased on ANYONE is counter intuitive.  A business owner doesn't want their own taxes to go up, and they sure wouldn't want their customers having less money to spend by being over taxed.

Hi,

Bill Dailey is an idiot.  They only know how to divide, steal from producing members of society and bully.

Let me tell you how I really feel....

Would it be legal to put a reminder in employee's pay envelopes stating: "I support your right to vote in the upcoming election. However, elections have consequences. If the President is re-elected and continues with current policies or ones similar, I will be forced to close this business, and you may be out of a job. Please keep your economic future in mind when you vote."

I'd leave out the last, but very important, sentence.

It's like Carney's arrogance and Baghdad Bob's spin.  Pure comedy gold.

He's asking them to not only stop whining, but also to get on board with asking to be taxed more!
