Major quake strikes northeastern Japan
« on: July 10, 2011, 12:15:31 PM »

A strong earthquake jolted on Sunday the same area of northeastern Japan that was hit by a massive quake in March, but there was no sign of further damage along the coast or to the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant, officials said.

The Japan Meteorological Agency lifted a tsunami alert for the region before noon after initially urging residents in the disaster area to stay clear of the coast.

The U.S. Geological Survey estimated the magnitude of the earthquake at 7.0 and said it had occurred about 130 miles off the northeastern coast of Japan at a depth of 11 miles just before 10 a.m. local time.

The dragon is awake in the ring of fire.  Just flexing his muscles and stretching his body from years of sleep.

The earth quake awoke the beast and his huge tail caused the ocean currents to build to a tsunami that swelled upon the land.

The dragon can not sleep, the earth keep moving beneath him, it bothers the dragon and causes him to become angry.

So the dragon moves on to a better place to sleep, one that he can rest for a million years.  This for some reason is not possible, every place he goes in the ring of fire is moving some what, where is the dragon to go, were is safe for him to sleep??

The earth keeps pushing and keeping the dragon awake, sooner or later he will have enough and come on the offence and cause great problems for the land dwellers.

Where will the dragon do his dirty deed, the ring of fire is huge, what and where will he strike, Asia, America, only time will tell.    The dragon has no idea of where he is, what he can take out, he is just wanting to be left alone and if not, those in his way are doomed.

This is how legions are born, a short story taking the ideas of a civilizing and placing them into their to days world to believe.

I admit I am no Jim Morrison but the Doors ,The End was playing at the time I wrote that and began to think of monsters, both human and those from mythology.===

Hell what if the Lock Ness Monster is real, what if the Yettie really lives?????

To the Japanese culture the Dragon lives and when a eclipse of the moon happens they to this day still bang on woks to keep the dragon from eating the moon.

Just a spot of fun for me, and I would never tell Captain Nemo about the giant Octopuses in the sea.
