  • Not right, but not left, either.
While helping my parents dig through decades of debris in their attic, I stumbled on a newspaper from October 12, 1990.  This was the leading story on the bottom half of the front page:

If anybody is interested in the GOP fears tag "party of the rich" on page 4A, or "Bush package would eliminate "bubble" on page 5A, I can fire up the scanner again.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, my television debut would have went over way better if I didn't end up getting paired up with that stupid 7-year-old brat.  :-)

That is practically current events... it might as well have happened yesterday for all things have changed in Congress.

I saw a Gore/Lieberman 2000 sticker on a Toyota Corolla today.  I about laughed myself off the road.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

What happened to the kid with the monkey?

A kid named Marco, and a monkey named Junior got into a row over some ice cream.  The video made it to America's Funniest Home Videos, and they won $10,000.  That monkey must have been one heck of a businessman.
