Song hunt
« on: April 22, 2008, 06:10:22 PM »
Anyone who watches the Discovery Channel has probably seen their new commercial "I love the world". The song in the commercial is a Susie Tallman song called "I love the mountains". For some reason, I seem to remember a song from the mid-80's that had somewhat similar music, but I can't think of the song. Does anyone have any ideas?

Of course, it could be that I drank some organic pineapple juice and am having some sort of time warping paranormal episode.

I remember it as a camp song when I was a kid -- so target like the 1890's or so.

At the end we would sing "bomsiada boomsiada boomsiada boomsiada BOOM!!!" and then listen to the echo of the BOOM!!

It shows up as a YMCA campfire song

I love the mountains
I love the rolling hills,
I love the fountains,
I love the daffodils,
I love the fireside,
When all the lights are low.
Boom-dee-a-da, Boom-dee-a-da,
Boom-dee-a-da, Boom-dee-a-da,
Boom-dee-a-da, Boom-dee-a-da,
Boom-dee-a-da, Boom-dee-a-da.

Not sure if it the same though

nine one one is an emergency service
September 11, 2001 was an attack

Has to be.  How many songs could have the word boom-de-a-da in them?

Given the "originality" of cRap, it is in probably 10 or 15 hip-hop tracks.
