Wherein CCers rush to the Lounge to welcome me back
« on: July 06, 2011, 07:42:50 PM »
Oh my! Has it really been a year and a half? (last post was in Jan of 2010!)

How is everyone?

Great great, me too.

Been to long wondering hither and yonder about the enter-toobs seeking out Lefties to battle and turn from the dark side. Total minds saved... zero:yawn:

Back here to recharge the batteries, see how everyone is getting along and maybe rejoin (or restart) the grand tradition of the Friday night drinking thread.  :cheersmate:

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Welcome back, sir, a hearty welcome back.

But you'll have to do the Friday evening drinking thread, as it kind of waned away--and you're more than welcome to rejuvenate it.

Thanks Duke and Frank.

Looking forward to being around again. talking beer, wine, movies, books, football and when unavoidable... even politics.

Heh heh. High fives for all the welcomes. (forgot that tradition)

I am recalling all yall better than I would have guessed. Will try and add some weekend traffic too.  :-)

Actually the only thing I've really forgotten is how to navigate around CC with the ease I once did. lol

Welcome back!  I was just perusing the members list today and ran across your name.  I wondered then where you had been.

Largely at a place called USMB going by the name Ragnar.

Had a computer die on me and going through the motions of setting things back up on a new one I recalled CC and was lucky enough to remember my sign-in and password lol

How do Odin's Hand. Like MacArthur, I shall return... er, to the sports page anyway and continue to make my case for the lowly Seahawks and the scandalous tOSU Buckeye's no matter how much they each embarrass me year to year in new and exciting ways.

You had told me awhile back that you were there and I looked up your Tristan account and there was no activity. Now I shall have to see what type of trouble you have caused.
