Have we surrendered to the wingnuts? Or are we just clueless?

The right wing in this country has been kicking us, screwing us, spitting on us and abusing us in every way conceivable for 30 years now. And our response has been …?

We (liberals) have played by the “rules” for far too long. At one point, we thought that conservatives were people who disagreed with us, but just viewed the world differently.

It’s far past time for us to wake up, stop the bullshit about “compromise/bipartisanship,” stood our ground, and fought back against them in the war they have declared upon us.

Face it. They don’t care whether we live or die, but they’d prefer that we die. These are not civilized people. They are our deadly enemies. They are barbarians who are not only trying destroy us, but eradicate everything we believe in and stand for.

So do we just bitch online, vote for whom we’re supposed to vote for, listen to the bullshit they sell us 24/7? Or do we, somehow, get serious and fight for what we believe in?

How? Beats me. If I had the answer you’d be reading it. But at this point, I’d really like to hear any and all suggestions.

5. Forget titles like "liberals."

What's needed are enough people who are fed up with the crap we've been forced to eat for the past 30 years. They don't have to be "revolutionaries." They just need to be people who are sick of the insanity that has been going on around us. And if those who finally turn on it and fight back against it are called "revolutionists," so be it.

4. Sigh, I must agree with you, ixoin

Inertia really does play a bigger role than we'd prefer.

But as all of history indicates, they will, at some point, push us too far. And at that point, the consequences, as you have said, will not be pretty. The sad part is that, we understand those consequences based on the history of humanity. Those who are oppressing us, as those like them in the past, will never understood it. And never will.

Ho hum.

It's amazing how much they whine that evil stalks the halls of power, they can't get a word in edgewise and they are all victims of government oppression.

Yet, their sole solution to bad government is singularly more government.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Who you listen to is as irrelevant as you are.

But are you just going to complain online and vote the way you're told?  Yes, of course.  It's what libs do.

Geez, what a drama queen. I would love for each DUmmie to make a specific list of all things that were done to them personally by the mean ol' all powerful conservatives.

You probably weren't aware of this, madam, but back in the late 1960s, early 1970s, Wall Street had high hopes for Oscar Wilde, the large-proboscised primitive.  They were sure he was going to be the new wunderkind of the stock market, and carefully groomed and cultivated him.

And then in a hissy-fit, Oscar went wilde and threw a promising future overboard on the Staten Island ferry.
