Does your State issue a Voter Registration Card, do you have one?

I have never really understood the argument against a voter ID law. Every state I've lived in issued me a Voter Registration Card when I registered. I've had one since I was 21 and always carry it to the Polls when I go to vote. Though I've never been challenged I expect the card to be proof enough to entitle me to my ballot. So in my experience its not necessary to carry that particular form of Voter ID I still do it and wouldn't consider it to be too onerous a requirement to show it at the Polls.

It seems to me that the problem is not so much having to show that you are registered, its that they are making it more difficult for a person to register in the first place. That what seems so un-American to me.

You don't understand the expiration date on the milk carton.  :whatever:

Uh, no, DUmbass.  Requiring someone to be able to prove who they are before they cast their vote is what keeps elections honest and maintains the integrity of our political process.  Honesty and integrity, something your side lacks completely.

The fact that you don't get it is no surprise.

That's one of the DUmbest things ol' Gumby has ever said.
They've made it so absurdly easy to register, you have to actively resist to avoid it.

NO. I live in kalifornia and to prove you were an actual citizen would disenfranchise the 3.5 million undocumented democrats.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
