Quote
Phew. Bill Clinton just unloaded in that periodic purple-haze fashion of his when asked about the infamous comments he made in South Carolina comparing Barack Obama’s win to those of Jesse Jackson in 1984 and 1988. Those comments were almost universally interpreted as a ham-fisted attempt to portray Obama as “the black candidate”. However they were intended, they backfired badly.
...
Bill is still fuming about this and let a Philadelphia WHYY radio host Susan Phillips have it with a three-and-a-half minute monologue/rant. Wandering into what seemed to be his own parallel universe, the 43rd US president said: “No, I think that they played the race card on me and we now know from memos from the campaign and everything that they planned to do it all along…. this was used out of context and twisted for political purposes by the Obama campaign to try to breed resentment elsewhere.” He ends with the open-mic observation (which he clearely didn't think was being broadcast) to an aide: “I don’t think I should take any sh*t from anybody on that, do you?”  ...

Boy, he really screwed that one up didn't he? Fox News was having a field day with this. :-)
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

The way he attacked and dissed Fox for his entire administration, who could blame them?

I'm liking it, too.  I LOVE the idea of mrs. clinton calling him and saying "bill, will you PLEASE STFU?????"  Now if anyone had a recording of such a call, they could get a zillion dollars for it.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

McCain's camp needs to put all of Bill's stupid statements in a minute long video and just play it over and over... if Hilary is their nominee..

Bill, your troubles started when you got head from that pudgy intern. They've been snowballing, abeit slowly, ever since.
You just can't come to grips with it can you?
