Not Even One Day. Just A Few Hours Later. Edited on Tue Jul-05-11 02:57 PM by ChoppinBroccoliAfter an entire weekend of Americans bowing, scraping, building monuments to, and basically deifying "the men and women who fought and died for the freedoms we enjoy," now, just a few short hours later, those very freedoms you were crying tears of joy and pride over are causing you to seethe with rage. Bottom line: if you hate a jury's verdict, you hate the Constitution. And since the Constitution IS America, you hate America. And less than a day after you were making a display of your patriotism. Those same "men and women who fought and died" fought and died to protect THESE freedoms too. Not just the ones you like.Look, unless you watched every second of the trial, heard all the testimony, and got to examine every piece of evidence, you're not qualified to render a verdict. And since I didn't spend a single second of my life on this trial, neither am I. But suffice it to say, if you're outraged at the verdict, blame the Prosecutor for failing to meet his burden.NOTE: The above post is not meant to apply to every single person on DU. The ones to which it is addressed know who they are.

Dimwit, it's called the First Amendment. If you hate my right to disagree with the verdict, you hate the constitution, and you hate America, since the constitution IS America.
People hate it because she killed that little girl, and by this weekend she'll be barhopping again, with more money coming in than most people will ever see.

Disagreeing with a jury verdict is equavilent to hating the Constitution? Sounds like the broccoli primitive has never read that which he claims others hate. Or if he did read it, he didn't understand the meaning, which would be typical of the left..
What holiday are you referring to? Veteran Day? Nope. Memorial Day? Nope. that's in May. This is July. Oh wait. You mean 4th of July? The 4th of July doesn't celebrate any individual. It celebrates the birth of a nation. The United States of America. It's America's birthday.
