Viet Nam, just barely, but I doubt that's what he means or he would have said so.  Given the fact that he does not mention 'Where,' and also given the DUmmie (And human) love of self-aggrandizement and claims of glory, I doubt he means 'War zone' as a vet might say it, i.e. as an episode of military service on behalf of the United States, but is likely speaking rhetorically of work as a night clerk at a convenience story in one of our more crime-ridden Democrat-controlled urban cesspools.  Perhaps he was a tourist on a two-weeker in Northern Ireland during the late troubles.

Well, what I find questionable is that the scar-faced Chief S itting Bull alleged to have worked for a private contractor in Vietnam; that's what I'm getting at here.  How would someone born in 1954 have been old enough to do that sort of work?  Didn't private contractors also require previous military service, for one to be hired?

I dunno.  He seems to be alluding to some type of military service.  He talks about staying inside of planes until they land now.  I don't know of any commercial flights that give parachutes to their customers.
