The sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as investigators have uncovered major holes in the credibility of the housekeeper who charged that he attacked her in his Manhattan hotel suite in May, according to two well-placed law enforcement officials.

I guess that's what passes for justice when you have unlimited funds. Doesn't matter if the crime even occurred at this point, just need to hire high power attorneys to investigate and smear the reputation of the alleged victim.

Looks like the case is going to be dropped in the next couple of weeks.  Credibility of the victim?  Zip.  Lied on her asylum request, now medical is showing her side of the story to be less than accurate.

It won't matter if she was raped or not, or why she lied. It will get tossed.

Wonder how many refugees seeking asylum...have lied on their requests? Used what happened to a friend or family member, as happening to them, in order to get in? Does it matter that it didn't happen to the seeker...if it was only a matter of time before it would? She's from Guinea, which has been known to allow horrendous torture on it's citizens.

Wonder if there will be any "investigation" into how all the pieces connect between DS-K and with the new IMF head, the US political party currently in charge, the French government? Ummm....probably not.

People who make false accusation of rape are scum. They trivialize real rape victims and they should be forced to attend counseling session with them.

Excuse me but did we not pass laws that said a victims past should not be held against them??? 

Kind of dangerous thinking here, do we excuse the rape and torture of a hooker, the rape of a woman that has a felony list for theft a yard long??

How about a young girl who is known as the town pump, like the 11 year old that was raped by at least 15 men and the news says she at that young age wore makeup and revealing clothing.???

This spreads to men and boys also, the murder of a Gay Youth, or the rape of a gay man with a broomstick.

When a female yells rape, must she have a Lilly white background, -----Darn to do that even a life long lesbian would have problems.

Then there are girls like Paulins daughter who recounts her first sexual experienced, drunk or drugged awaking to find she had been used sexually while unconscious.  She never called that rape but I do.

Look at the conduct of the accused after the alleged rape, why his actions were so odd and strange.   The conduct of the maid was spot on for being victimised, the conduct of the accused showed he was running from something.

Excuse me? Did I say that rapists should get off for their crimes? Did you even read what I said? I am really irritated by people who make false rape accusations and trivializes it. Did I say all rape accusations are false? No! Rapists deserve to die!!!!!! As for a 11 year old that's not even a good analog for crying out loud. Having sex with a 11 year old is illegal and perverted. Why are you mentioning it? Besides a 11 year old is different from an adult. Seriously, get a grip and read before you post!
