Kids have strep so they are on a heavy dose of antibiotics this weekend.  Went fishing yesterday and didn't even get a nibble.  Going to my brother's house tomorrow to go swimming with the kids.  Hopefully the youngster's are done with their diarrhea by the time we hit the pool or there could be trouble  :whistling:

Polo on Friday, polo x 2 on Saturday, polo today and fireworks, polo the 4th and more fireworks.  My favorite fishing areas are still inaccesible by snow, so I'm going to enjoy what I have available.

I'm lovin' it!

Sounds like most everyone's havin' a pretty good weekend ...so far, mine's been very nice.   Today, went to the beach, worked out, did some cardio and probably will follow suit with my training, hit the beach then  hit downtown for the big show tomorrow evening :D

It is hot here and I've spent most of my weekend so far inside doing homework.  Tomorrow I'm going to go watch a 4th of July parade with friends and eat good food  :yahoo:

We're surrounded by fireworks every night (for the last 2 nights) as we speak. We'll probably have a pig on a spit barbecue, some cocktails, then ... back to work. Thats it.

Sorry, got an early start on the cocktails part.

Agreed..daughter and I had it TWICE in the winter. Antibiotics and BETTER antibiotics if it comes back. Key really is to ditch your old toothbrush and make sure you are not using anything after 48 hours of antibiotics that could recontaminate you.

oh and Gina, take probiotics at the same time..trust me on this :p

2 days laying by the pool, and then out to dinner.

Going to do it again today, provided the storms stay away.

Have been seeing fireworks the last 2 nights from either our deck or front porch, imagine it will be the same again tonight...beats the heck out of fighting the crowds downtown!

Please take the full dose, even if you feel better. The bugs can develop a tolerance if the full dose isn't taken.

I quoted you, but it was meant for Gina.

Worked Saturday. Went to Ft. Worth yesterday with the girlfriend, had a big lunch and went to the Japanese Garden at the Ft Worth Botanic Garden to walk around for an hour and take pictures. Were headed home and decided to go walk around the Kimbell Art Museum for a few hours. Today is all about relaxing around the house, cooking this evening and watching the fireworks while having some drinks. Easy day.

Beautiful photos of the botanic gardens.  I've only recently discovered the existence of them and am now hooked.  Very different from where I work on prairie and high desert, though I love living in the openness.  But a few hours in gardens like that is a treat.

Am grillin' a couple of chicken halves on the barbie. Low 'n slow.  :-)

No brewskis, though.  :censored:

Mrs. E alerted me of the presence of Mr. Muskrat in the pond. While I'm a' grillin', I'll be a'chillin' waiting to put Mr. Muskrat on ice.

Just me and my .22. Homey don't need no brewski after all!   :hyper:

How many friends does Mr. Muskrat have, or is he the only one you've seen?

He's solo this weekend, apparently. If he has friends, they'll be invited to the party, though.

The same .22 party that he himself is invited to.  :-)

I had a co-worker that was whining about some rodents in his yard... he's a big, mush-headed liberal anti-gun sissy.  He wouldn't take my advice on an AR-15 with a .22 LR kit.

He probably still has rodents.
