the GOP and their enablers (Halprin) are resorting to calling him names ("dick"!!) and cry baby Boehner is accusing the president of burying our kids and grandkids in debt, conveniently forgetting that it was Bush who blew a surplus and caused the economic problems we have today.

I say to President Obama--keep on being a "dick" and as the deadline looms, I would say go on national television prime time in the oval office and give a speech which says:

1) A summary of what you inherited by the GOP
2) contrast private sector jobs created under you than with Bush
3) Explain that the GOP is holding the country hostage because they don't want millionaires to get a tax increase
4) Explain that they want to cut Medicare and Social Security but protect the Bush Tax Cut
5) Urge viewers to put pressure on the GOP to increase the debt limit and to allow the wealthy to share the sacrifice for the problems that the GOP caused.

That last sentence pisses me off. GOP GOP GOP. Look in the mirror asshole. Same old broken record. Never take responsibility for what you have done. Blame somebody else.

Yeah, the 'Blame everyone else' schtick is wearing pretty damned thin with everyone but the diehard Obamabots by now.

I am actually surprised of the extent of how unpresidential Obama has been since he has been in office, and its only gotten worse in the last few months.  No one wants someone who isn't putting his own ideas up for examination only ridicule and blame someone else, they want a leader.  

DUmmies, blaming the other side is NOT leading, putting a plan of how to fix it on the table IS LEADING.  Putting the idiot boy Biden on the job is not leading, blaming Bush is not leading, knocking republicans ideas yet having none of your own is not leading, not having a budget for the last two years is not leading, being afraid to address SS and Medicare is not leading, going the easy route and saying "tax the wealthy" is not leading, in fact it's infantile.  You know deep down that just taxing the wealthy isn't going to help.  1% of the population can not pay for all this shit.  50% if the people pay no taxes, a large majority of those 50% get money back that they never put in.  It is a grand pyramid scheme that is crashing down around you.  Wake the heck up.

IF we can defeat him next year, there will be a lot of hand-wringing and surprising honesty from the DUmmies about 0bama.  Despite the cries of voter fraud in 2004, a lot of the DUmmies actually were very critical of the way that John Kerry ran his campaign.
