Living with Ed....

Ok, I admit I have stayed away from this show because I hate having "Global Warming/Climate Change" crammed down my throat.  Admittedly Ed Bagley has always kind of creeped me out but I was flipping through channels this morning and there must be some "Living with Ed" marathon going on on HGTV today.  I watched about a show and a half and I'm afraid to admit that I kind of liked it.  He is actually kind of funny in an odd moonbat kind of way.  I like his wife and he does point out simple things that don't cost an arm and a leg that you can do to conserve energy and in return save you money.  Obviously he takes his recycling/conservation to an extreme, to the point that I think no normal person could live the way he does.  At least he isn't a limousine liberal telling you what you should do while taking chartered jets everywhere, he actually practices what he preaches.  Makes conservation much more palatable coming from someone who walks the walk and not just talks the talk.

I would take a frying pan to his head if he were my husband.  :evillaugh: I saw some of the show when it first aired. Is he still making toast with a bicycle?

I do like that he's walking the walk. He gets points for that. Maybe he can go over to Al Gore's homes and help him go green.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

LOL I just find the crazy things he is doing kind if ingenious and stupid at the same time (if that is possible).

I would totally record the show if he were to go check out Al Gore's "green-ness".  But it would have to be some surprise visit, no time for him to spend a ton of money to bring his green up to "Ed Code" before the visit.

I watched a rerun of "Dharma & Greg" yesterday.  Ed, Jr. was in it.

Larry Finklestein (Dharma's dad) had run out of things to protest, so he was making stuff up just so he wouldn't have to end his time with Ed.  While driving Ed around endlessly to locate a nonexistent chemical plant protest, Dharma's mother (Abby) leans over to her husband and says, "At some point this becomes kidnapping".

Larry tries to convince Ed that a charity carwash is the protest they've been looking for, but Ed doesn't buy it.  Larry apologises and Ed accepts.  Then Ed suggests they go back and make sure the kids at the carwash are using biodegradable soap.

Ed Bagley, Jr. is not above making fun of himself.  He's a liberal I can tolerate.

I saw him on a show recently, I can't remember if it was on TV or the radio actually.  He was making fun of himself and I agree, I can tolerate him as well.

Yeah you think it's a great idea until it's forced down your throat as it was just done here in eastern NC, the 20 counties that make up the Coastal Management Zone.........the rain barrels are to help with storm water runoff.........yet only 20 counties have been bent over and offered no lube............not only that a gravel driveway is now considered impervious surface....... :banghead:

What's with the lawn care and rain barrel threads today.....................If anyone brings up piping plovers I will kill the ptramigans
