DUmmies Discuss The Jug-Eared Kenyan's Intelligence

After all this time, the DUmbasses still confuse the ability to smoothly read a teleprompter with "intelligence":

W. was incredibly stupid. Obama is incredibly smart. So why the wars?

Why are we still in Iraq? Why are we still in Afghanistan? Why is Obama bombing Lybia and telling our congress to screw off because it's none of their business?

At some point, the difference between incredibly stupid and incredibly smart ceased to matter.

The most obvious explanation is that American companies that build war supplies are making profits beyond their wildest dreams. And ending a war, any war, would decrease their bottom lines.

So it's just possible that stupid and smart don't come into the equation. All that matters is more. More wars for more profits, so that the companies profiting can give more to politicians, who, in turn, will give them more ongoing wars. What a disgusting, vicious circle.

America has lost its middle class, its moral compass, its soul, and it's pouring its wealth down a rat hole.

And worst of all, there doesn't seem to be one ******* thing that any of us can do about it. Any suggestions?

What do we know, aside from the Kenyan's teleprompter skills? His academic records are as closely guarded as the list of Clinton's venereal diseases.
We can only go by his performance: Consistent votes of "present" for a very brief period at the state and federal level, followed by the most incompetent presidency since the Georgia peanut.

Welcome to the affirmative action presidency.

1. Either Obama is not as smart as we thought, or W is not as dumb as we thought.
You raise some good questions.

I used to think Obama was off mediocre intelligence. I know believe him to be south of 90.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I don't think the man is stupid ( in the classical sense ) by any means. But he no towering intellect either. That is more then obvious when someone ask him a question he didn't get prepped for and is stuck with out a teleprompter. The thing with lefties and libs is that they like to think they are the smartest people in the room. And when someone comes along spouting the same crap they spew while running for office they project their ego on to that person. In a way they kind of imagine the person they choose to represent them IS them. That is also why when they finally DO criticize him for something it is not too harsh because that would be self criticism and for people with huge egos that is a hard thing to pull off.

But he was born with contacts that have helped him all his life and lead him to other like minded people who groomed him over the years. He could always just kind of get by with out too much effort on his part because he knew he would always be pushed along.

This link has some interesting points...

Being a ok student at Columbia doesn't get you into Harvard Law much less the Law Review unless he had friends cashing in favors behind the scenes. To be honest, in my opinion, I think all he ever did anywhere was the bare minimum needed to get by. In short he is lazy and probably has a huge sense of entitlement.

He behavior as a state and federal senator reflects that.

If we had a real media in this country I doubt he would have ever made it past the state level.

Yes, you're right.  It's in his entire worldview.  When Louisiana was begging him to lift the moratorium so that the oil workers could get back to work, he said, "Oh, BP will pay the guys."  "What if they don't?"  "Oh, well, they can collect an unemployment check."

As if a $300 weekly check can support a family.  It can't.  Not to mention the sense of self-worth that only honest work can bring.

When obama is not reading from a teleprompter, his orations are full of "Er" and "Ah". Not the sign of a smart person.

Affirmative action is right.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Oh god it is painful to listen to. Every time someone proclaims Obama to be a genius and Bush a idiot I want to tie them down in a chair and make them listen to him UMMMMMMMMMMMM and Errrrrrrrrrrrrr for a few hours.

I was sitting in a bar over seas when the bar tender said "don't you think he is a good speaker?" He can speak, big freaking deal. He uses a faux southern preacher cadence while saying words someone with a marketing background wrote and everyone is impressed. Some people are easily impressed, others are trying to find something to be impressed by.

BTW, if Obama is such a genius then why doesn't he have any advanced degrees? In the history of our Presidents we have only had two with degrees higher then a B.A.. Woodrow Willson had a Ph.D, Bush had a MBA.

George W. Bush flew one of these during the Cold War, a task not insignificant in it's degree of challenge, according to all familiar with the aircraft type, and the DUmbshits consider him the stupidest president to ever occupy the office.

Barry Soetoro (aka: Barack Hussein Obama) did a stint as editor of the Harvard Law Review, for which he has no significant articles or opinions to his credit, no verifiable college transcripts, or any other noteworthy achievement while occupying the position.  The DUmbshits consider him the smarter-est president since Jimmuh for this.

Truth! ^

This man's arrogance issues forth from him like water from a lawn sprinkler. He knows exactly what he is doing to the Gulf Coast. He is deliberately snuffing the life out of it with the hopes that he will create from it an expansion of the entitlement class rolls. Like the other industries he has targeted for destruction he has no intention of rendering any aid or support to revive that region. He wants it to die on the vine and those who live there to become welfare dependent and hopefully just comfortable enough that way to be inclined to vote to keep it that way from here on out.

It's ridiculous to attempt to measure intelligence based solely on how many verbal gaffes one can collect.

Consider: The average number of spoken words per day by an individual, male or female, is around 16,000. Multiplied times 365 and you've got 5,840,000 words per year. You have to figure a President, between the dozens of formal speeches given during the year and the constant interpersonal communications required by the job, probably averages twice that or more. Multiply that times 4 years for a term or 8 years for a two-termer and you're looking at close to 50,000,000-100,000,000 spoken words.

Hell, I consider myself fairly well-spoken, but I stutter and have to back up and start over multiple times each day. I have slips of the tongue. I mishear or misunderstand what another is saying and respond out of context. I'd hate to see what they could come up with if there was corp of media people recording and scrutinizing every word out of my mouth.

Yet people can collect a dozen or so words and phrases from George Bush and play them looped over and over against a laugh track and use that as some measure of his overall intellect and ability. It doesn't wash. He has no more of a problem with the English language than Obama or Biden, it's just that every slip they make isn't collected into a Greatest Hits album to be replayed over and over for the public's edification like you see done with Republican pols.

The posts of Oscar Wilde, the large-proboscised primitive, generally consists of whining about some issue followed by questions asking what the other primitives have to say on the topic  I realize libs need constant reinforcement of their beliefs from others, but that's all this one ever does.
