Well, here's where my confusion lies.
In order to become a commissioned officer, one has to first have a bachelor's degree of some sort from college, right?
And the primitive had two years of college.
Is OCS--I assume that means "officer-candidates school"--different from college, but it fulfills the same requirement?
No, Sir, it does not.
Boot camp first, then primary flight, then advanced.
Current active duty can sign up. (They've already had boot camp)
They would retain their paygrade if greater than E5.
One month of hell school followed by four months actual flight training.
After that, four more months of advanced traing.
On grad, you must become a WO, prior to recieving wings.
Never the other way around.
