F*** AT&T.
If that merger goes through, we are dumping our T-Mobile phones immediately. I've had AT&T in the past. The service (customer service, that is) was TERRIBLE. Dropped calls like you wouldn't believe. And outrageous prices compared to their competitors.
I've had AT&T for years with no complaint. As far as dropped calls, I thought that depended on where you are vs. tower locations. If there's a merger, AT&T and T-Mobile should both improve if they combine their relay towers. I've never really studied a rate comparison, but whenever I see rates advertised by Sprint, Verizon, or T-Mobile, they look identical to what I pay. I've only spoken to their customer service a couple of times, and my problems have been handled smoothly.
But every time I read about AT&T, it's from outraged, unhappy customers, so I must really be in the minority.
Nothing new about that. Hell, I think Windows Vista is a good operating system!
