The House is voting right now about defunding our operations in Libya.

How would you vote?

For defunding?

Against defunding?

2. I'm PROUD of them all...even the reptilian rethugs.

WASHINGTON – The House on Friday overwhelmingly rejected a measure giving President Barack Obama the authority to continue the U.S. military operation against Libya, a major repudiation of the commander in chief.

5. It isn't going to happen. This is pure political theater, at least from the republican side. Yes, most of the Democrats in the house are sincere about it, but except for ron paul and a few miscellaneous republicans, they want to get rid of Gadaffi(sic)

Khaddafi.

3. I would defund until I choked the life out of the MIC....

If I could pick one permanent change to make in the world-- absolute power, on my say so-- it would be to cut U.S. military spending by 75% or more. Not to save money, especially, but rather to hamstring the generals and their MIC cohorts in the "defense industry." While diverting the money to other uses is desirable, simply starving the MIC beast is justification enough.

U.S. out of Iraq and Afghanistan NOW! (And Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, etc!)

And if I could make just one change in the world, mike_c, it would be to fully reinstate the Code Duello into society, because all too often, DUmbshits such as yourself spout the stupidest, least fact-based shit imaginable without any means of holding you accountable for what issues forth from that stinking, festering sewer on top of your greasy neck, and it has real impact on the lives and livelihoods of people who want more for their countrymen than a welfare check in every baggie of pot.  With Code Duello in force, you could be made responsible for your words, or publicly branded for the cowering, jibbering idiot you are, once and for all.

Hi! I'm quite new here, so forgive if there's something unsuitable, but that's what i foud trying to get some informatoin about Libyan events. http://www.russian-blogger.com/content/libya-war-latest-news-and-view-russia It seem to be quite an interesting opinion from the russians' point of view. What do you think?
