and yes death is a taboo in the US... I am so thankful in a way that I grew up in Mexico.
Yeah it's not a taboo in Mexico. In that shithole, death is an everyday, common occurence. People die from infected teeth, minor cuts, flu, ruptured appendix, internal parasites, diarrhea, and a whole host of things that either don't exist or are minor conditions in the civilized world. It's probably easier to handle when it's so routine.
