Out of gas, out of patience, and out of hope...
I have grown indifferent to politics. Expectations are never met. My side is incapable of defending itself or it is masochistic? I do not know which?

I keep waiting and waiting for them to do the right thing but it never happens. In the end, they surrender everything. I no longer have any expectations that they will fight for anything.

My patience is used up. Perhaps I expected too much? I'm tired of fighting for them when they refuse to fight for me.

I hate feeling this way but it has come to this.

2. Try not thinking about it as fighting for them.........
Try thinking about it as fighting for yourself, your children, your grandchildren and the other people you love.
If they will not fight, kick them to the ditch, always others to take their place.
Much harder to replace your loved ones...............

Just abort your kids. It's easier than seeing them suffer...or so I'm told at DU.

The bluegrass primitive reminds me of someone who would repeatedly hit themselves in the head with a hammer and then wonder why they always have a headache.  He has yet to figure out it's his own political viewpoints that have created the problems he sees.  He keeps "waiting and waiting for them to do the right thing," while not realizing that will only add to his woe, since his idea of "the right thing" isn't the right thing at all.  Of course, he'll never learn these valuable lessons, so that's why descent and civilized people ignore those like him and go on doing what they know to be correct.

I feel no pity towards him or any of the primitives; they're getting exactly what they voted for in Dear Leader.

It's still way too early, but it looks to me as if we're going to have a whole lot of newcomers to the top primitives when nominations start in late November.  In fact, as the race now stands, I'm not seeing any former top primitives coming even close.

Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.
