Stay tuned. A career change is on the table for me again. Two weeks ago I was so low when I didn't get my locals VP slot. It might take a couple months before I can blab.

Change subject. I'm still catching up on DU mail from the weekend. I will get to it and reply to all.

The last time a DUmmy was this excited about a mysterious new job opportunity, it was TwixVoy and his new job at the air  port.
That was just before the last minute, unfair urine test that kept a brother down.

My fellow Nebraskan's campfire is eerily reminescent of another campfire started by another primitive, oh, maybe about four years ago.

I figure the same thing's going to happen.

Anybody remember when Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, who was still living in northeastern Massachusetts at the time, breathlessly announced he had an idea he was going to get patented, and it would make him a millionaire?  Remember how he was really coy about it, and how agog and excited the primitives were for him?  Remember that Chief S itting Bull never came back to tell either his fellow primitives, or decent and civilized people, what happened with that?

I really dislike primitive stories where we never hear the ending.....and I suspect this will be one of them.

Yeah. Like the pie shop, or poor stupid Beth's eviction from the camper, or TwixVoy's Portuguese adventure, or Ladyhawke's suicide. Irritating as hell, and really rude and inconsiderate of the DUmbass.

Most likely Redstone's rumored windfall had something to do with TiT's cross-country trip to (unsuccessfully) attempt a friendly loan from his old buddy, his old pal, his old fellow drug abuser. It seemed strange at the time that TiT would do that, considering that he's always had immediate access to unlimited funds from his own bottomless stash.
