Bachmann Shoots to the Top of the GOP
« on: June 21, 2011, 08:10:09 PM »
The Washington Times reports Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has shot to the top of Zogby‘s latest poll of Republican primary voters.

In a very large field of candidate, Bachmann pulled 24 % with Herman Cain and Mitt “RomneyCare” Romney tied at second with 15%.

RINO-extraordinaire John Huntsman, the favorite Republican liberal of the “mainstream” media, comes in at a paltry 2%–which is about 3% higher than he should be among GOP voters.

But this is no time for real Republicans to get happy and start resting on their laurels, though. The Washington Times article indicated that there is serious work yet to be done.

Mr. Romney has the air of inevitability about him — 37 percent of the 998 likely primary voters surveyed said they think he will win the nomination. The next closest candidate was Mrs. Bachmann, whom 7 percent of respondents predicted would win the nomination.

Republicans have a longstanding failing that they tend too often to be defeatists…and this bunk has to stop!

Yes, the “mainstream” media is against you…but there is now Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and several other talk radio commentators, as well as the New Media to get the truth out.

Yes, the fatcat GOP establishment is against you…but there are far more of you than there are of them, so put your back into it and let’s make sure a real Republican like Michele Bachmann gets the nomination; the voters in the general election have indicated they’re tired of Barack Obama’s un-American socialism and need something different to vote for instead of Democrat-lite.

I'd vote for Michelle in a heartbeat, but I'm not putting any stock into any poll this soon.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

True dat.  Iowa and New Hampshire are still almost eight months away and the MSM presumes to know who the candidate will be?

One of the candidates had it right--at this point in 2007, McRINO was polling in the LOW single digits.  It's entirely possible that the person who gets the GOP nomination hasn't even declared yet.

Love her, but I wonder how many times the MSM is going to try to break her?   Look what Chris Wallace just did and he's a conservative...granted he apologized, but FFS!
