Candy prices near me just went up by over 30 percent
There goes a few hundred jobs, 'cos I'm not paying $1.29 for a KitKat when it was $0.85 yesterday, and i know I'm not alone.

WTF are they thinking? Don't the candy manufacturers know their products are very price sensitive and NO ONE is getting a 30% increase in pay? I hope this is not a harbinger of doom for the rest of the convenience store products, because I already live on bread, peanut butter and candy... I got nowhere cheaper to go!

That DUmbass probably needs gasoline a lot worse than they need candy. But high gas prices are GOOD, right?

If you're shopping at a convenience store I have some good news!  There are ways to save you money.

God what an idiot.

I just bought 900 candy bars at Sams for an average price of $.43/each.  I'll sell the DUmmie all the candy bars it wants for $.85.

The Kit-Kat is still worth a Kit-Kat.  It that your dollar is worth 20% less.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Candy prices should be high. Can you imagine the carbon footprint that making that candy bar must leave?
First of all its made in Mexico probably in a plant with no green regulations. Then you figure the carbon put out from trucking it to the distribution center. Then when it's shipped to the store that's another diesel burning monster that is being used.
Why do you hate the planet so much DUmmy? All you care about is your stupid kit kat, that according to Michelle you shouldn't be eating anyway you fatass. Go buy some organic grapes or something.

A 10 cent candy bar is now $1.39. Ain't socialism grand.

Well, DUmmie, if you weren't putting all that "corn" in your gas tank, maybe food prices wouldn't be so high.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

The drug stores had them on sale last week for .39, and if you used a Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon you could've loaded up on it.

Indeed. In related news, I propose that we change the name of the the cars 'fill tube' to 'cornhole'. Then we can just make it official - since we get cornholed every-time we fill the tank.

I have no idea what Kit Kat costs. If I want a bag of Kit Kats (or is it Kits Kat?), I will get them. But usually I get bags of Almond Joys. Or Peanut M&Ms. Or Snickers. Or Reese's Cups. Or Jelly Bellies. Did they go up, too?

I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and M & M's with Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter and Chocolate are my weakness, but I also love regular M & M's and Mounds Bars. I love Ben & Jerry's Phish Food and any Ice Cream that has Oreo's in them. Now I'm freaking hungry!

Anyone ever order from Savannah Sweets? Their Pecan Pralines and White Chocolate Cashew Paws are deadly good. Mrs. dandi and I have to hit their store every time we go to St. Augustine or Savannah.

I'm also addicted to the Spicy Pineapple-Rum Sauce from pamperedchef.com. Poured over a block of cream cheese and dipped into with Ritz crackers. Good stuff. A bit pricey but great for special occasions.
