I have not read it yet, but there is a fairly new book out about ESPN.  Apparently the parts about Olbermann aren't exactly ones he'll put on his mantle.  :-)

I've never watched him, I've just seen clips on Newsbusters.  What offended me most about KO was his "Worst Person in the World" segment.  There are some bad apples in this world.  Wife beaters, child molesters, animal torturers, dictators & despots, population-starvers, kidnappers, murderers, mass murderers.  And he singles out some politician doing some little thing or other that Keef doesn't agree with.  It made a mockery of the true evil in the world.

The MSNBC moonbat shows draw 250-300K, and everyone in the country knows about and has access to MSNBC. The vast majority of people have never heard of CurrentTV, and the ones who have could not tell you if it's carried on their cable service.

No matter how fanatical the moonbat base may be, there's no way Keef can draw 100K on Current. When Keef's contract with Algore was announced, the story said Current TV primetime shows draw about 23,000 viewers nationwide. A lot of televised city council meetings draw that well.

You would think with the cult factor, if there was a cult factor, Olberman would be enough to make Current TV something other than a satellite station that has nothing interesting on. But then Algore has his own cult factor and he couldn't do anything with it.
