There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Got it right here! Gonna watch it either tonight or tomorrow.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

My hubby LOVED IT, I was like ehhh.  I have to say though that the effects were excellent and the plot was great too.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

Does it borrow heavily from 2012 and show LA being plunged into the Pacific?  (Always a winning formula in my book. :II: )

My favorite scene. California just went Red.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

What about San Fran, then?

Only problem, there seems to be something with the water over there. We damn sure wouldn't want the San Joaquin Valley turning blue if it became the new west coast. Our produce prices would go through the roof. Can't remember where I read it, but there was a breakdown by percentages of all produce that comes from that area, and almost all are above the 50% mark. Some as high as 95%.

I'd pay a little more to get rid of the sick deranged butt lovers in SF.
