Skin's island is so boring, so slow, tonight, that I went to the Nebraska forum.

Drowning in Red Excrement
Sorry, that's very graphic. But I miss my Oregon and California Blueness once in a while...especially working in the Financial Services industry in Teabag-ska. Luckily there are a few open minded folk hovering around the college towns and larger cities in Nebraska for me to get an occasional glimpse!
For those fellow enlightened Huskers, thanks for making yourself known to me, I don't feel quite so alone!

1. I know the feeling.
I'm across the river but the excrement is just a deep over here (it's less deep in the rest of IA). We lived in WA state for a couple years. After returning to IA we contemplated a move to Oregon but could make it happen.

2. I'm glad to see Nebraskans on here.
Are there others?
Hmmmm. Cool screen-name.
Anyway, yeah, there's Nebraskans here, but they don't seem to come to the Nebraska forum.

3. I'm more of a lurker now, but I'm still around.
The Democratic party had it's shot here in 2006 & 8 and now we'll be lucky to have a single Democrat in a Federal level office by 2013.
Uh-huh.

4. Here in "outstate" Nebraska, it's just the way things are.
For the most part, the benefits outweigh the challenges though.

I have family here, so I coping skills to live in a red state. But it is getting harder to not say WTF at every turn.
I do some campaign work, meander the book stores. Anything to clean the air.

Hmmmm. One wonders what that was all about.
Anyway, the above's the whole campfire.
