I think he's a centrist, same as the Clintons. I'll still vote for him, same as I did for Bill Clinton, but I think he has the potential to embrace more issues which are important to the left, since I do think he has the capacity to change, or we can hope. I think Ted Kennedy saw that in him.

Obama is far, far left - he is just smart enough to know he can't push the US as far left as he would like it to go all at once, so he is moving it incrementally.
