LSD Flashback - Bullshit? Have you or do you know anyone who has had one?

In remembrance of the War on Drugs, I had a great discussion about my drug use, other people's use, what do we tell our kids etc.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

One of the people said he never tried LSD because he was afraid of Flashbacks. I said and some others said that was a myth. I have never had and I know no one who has had an LSD Flashback. I know about 50-70 people who have tripped.

I define a flashback as the feeling like you are on acid (more than a few seconds) when you have not taken acid. If you've tripped, you probably know what I mean.

Please no friend of friend stories or legends. You or someone you know.

Thanks, this is obviously a highly scientific inquiry.

I'm sure no one here is shocked that the primitives are experts on the use of LSD.

60. Like beer and travel money, flashbacks promised never seem

to arrive. I mean, such a flashback would be a gratuitous bounus most would greatly welcome.

I love it when they make fun of their fellow idiots.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Apparently permanent damage does not qualify as a flashback.

Does that mean that you think jobs are a myth?

If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

If a DUmmie took an extended "trip" and never came back, then he couldn't have flashbacks, right?... :stoner:

They still be tripping.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

My English teacher in college had to be driven to school every day.  He had multiple flashbacks while driving that caused him to wreck several cars.  He was our own personal "This is your brain on drugs" commercial.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

Yes it does.
It explains A LOT!
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I've been giving this entire thing some thought. The DUmmies already live in a dimension that is far removed from actual reality. In such a case how does one determine if he is tripping or having a flashback?
