Why is a former CEO with no political experience being considered for president?
Seriously why is freaking Herman Cain seriously being considered as a contender? What sense does it make to risk allowing someone with no experience in government to be allowed to gain the highest office in the land? It makes no sense. What the hell does a CEO know about governing? All they know how to do is steal and leach off the work of others.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1319247Well let's see our current president is a former community organizer with a 5 minute Senate Career where he voted present most of the time, unless he could vote against something to try to make a political point against Bush.
All he knows how to do is to steal, leech off the work of others, and blame other people for his policies failures.

2. It's a symptom of the corporatist take-over
For some reason, Republicans think that the country is a business and that it's business' right and responsibility to run it
And some people think the govt is a charity and that it's their right to have every need met by it.

7. +100! I remember listening to a repuke co-worker complain
that Obama was going to be the least qualified, least experienced President ever. I quickly replied that "W" was supposedly a Harvard Business Grad and Governor of Texas. W had plenty of experience and look at what a MESS he made of everything he touched!
That shut my co-worker right up!
Then 2 years later that coworker came back and said, "See, I told you so." and that shut you right up.

17. they like having a person of color on stage to deflect the obvious comments
but he isn't a serious contender in a (R) primary battle
that is just media hype
he does OK on some polls but I think the moron (R)s confuse Her-man Cain with John Mc-Cain
yes, they are that stupid
What an idiot.

19. Because He's Black, And Everyone Knows................
..............that black people only voted for Obama because minorities of ANY stripe ONLY want to vote for someone that looks like them. So logically, if you run a black person against Obama, the black vote will split evenly. Then, if you have a woman as his running mate, you'll corner the female vote too.
I'm not kidding, this is how Republicans ACTUALLY think. "We lost because Obama got 96% of the black vote. So if WE trot out our OWN blackie............"
Think I'm wrong? Then tell me why McCain chose Sarah Failin as his running mate in '08. Everyone knows that he did it because he thought he'd get all the Hillary voters to switch teams just because his running mate had a hoo-hoo instead of a ha-ha.
You call him a blackie, and accuse us of racism.

20. Republicons love seeing a black man
who will Uncle Tom for them, and support their agenda. They did it with Alan Keyes, and they'll pay lip service to any black person who toes the line for them.
It almost makes them feel like they're not racist.

This coming from the people who call black republicans lovely names like Uncle Tom, House N*gger and so forth.
Liberals pay lip service to any black person who tows the line for them (another Dummyism like Marshall law) for them.

27. Not even the Republicans are taking him seriously
I'm stuck listening to Hannity from 4-5 every weekday at work thanks to a wingnut in the office and a weird sound tunnel from their office to my desk. Hannity has had guests on all last week talking about the hopefuls - Herman is not taken seriously at all.
I love how they are forced to listen to Rush, Hannity, and so forth. Just like they are forced to shop at Walley world.

31. B/C he's a BUSINESSMAN, and BUSINESSMEN make the
bestest political leaders, since we need to run the country like a BUSINESS now. :eyes:
Yeah it's crazy to think we need someone who knows how to handle money.
