The Romney Bachmann Ticket
« on: June 16, 2011, 10:03:10 PM »
And so it begins... (It certainly explains Rollins).

But if we assume Romney is to be the nominee--a big "if," let us emphasize--then another candidate's performance Monday amounted to a very effective audition for the vice presidency: Michele Bachmann.

Whereas the argument for Pawlenty is that he is most things to all people--that few voters have any reason to be against him--Bachmann stirs genuine enthusiasm among two of the Republican factions most wary of Romney: the Tea Party and the religious right. A Romney-Bachmann ticket would be balanced in terms of ideology (he's moderate, she's conservative), governing style (he's technocratic, she's idealistic), religion (he's Mormon, she's evangelical) and, of course, sex.

Bachmann/Ryan - two great messagers. I have a sick feeling we'll get a rino at the top of the ticket though. At this point, I don't care, I'll vote for them.

I want Obama and the rest of the liberals unemployed in 2012.

I'd rather have Palin. Bachmann has no executive experience. No way should she be at the top of any ticket. Palin/Bachmann (Palin's earned the right to be on the top of the ticket, she's fearless regardless of what they throw at her). I still think Bachmann chose Rollins for a reason. There are plenty of (conservative) managers. She chose an establishment RINO with an unethical streak. But I don't think it would work to have two women on the ticket. Maybe.

Palin/Bachmann or any other conservative (Cain or West) would work for me.

I love Palin and I do believe she is the closest thing we have to a Reagan at this time. I think Ryan is very close, but still pretty young. Can't disagree with what you said. Have to admit, the Rollins selection showed poor judgement. I do like Bachmann's nerve. ;)

Two hot chicks running the country?  HELL YA!
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Yeah, my son says it'd be great to have a MILF as his CinC.
