I'd have to agree with Herman Cain, simply being a member of a certain religion would not make them ineligible. However, I'd have to be certain they were true Americans and completely loyal to our country first. So, both 1 and 2...and probably more than just that. However, I'd be just as careful choosing any staff member regardless of whether they are Christian, Jewish, atheist, etc. The point is to have those that love our country, understand our Constitution, and respect our laws on staff, period.
