I agree with denise from San Rafael....When i was in the store looking to buy some of the wonderful wind chimes they have there, a very tall disheveled man came from behind the counter to supposedly "help" me...What happened instead is that he hit on me and asked me out for a drink. He said something about being a decorated war hero and that i should be honored he wanted to bed me. The next thing i know  he pulls a green highlighter on me and attempts to write his cell number on my shirt...I ran screaming from the store and as i ran this "man" whipped a Carlos Santana Greatest Hits album at me screaming "I toured and played backup guitar for Carlos back in the day as my oldest son was playing professional baseball, you will rue the day you didn't give me some booty!" As a straight male...I have never been so frightened of another man in my life! I shall never return to this establishment! Tttl!

I assume the "jumping out of the counter" reference has to do with the police jumping out of the bushes? was it Tom who told that story?

ETA: read it wrong, I thought it said jumped out of the counter but it said "came from behind the counter".

It was TiT's son who played backup for Carlos Santana. He and his brother, who is a star professional baseball player, both quit school at TiT's urging. TiT, after all, has enjoyed unimaginable success and wealth, after having been forbidden to attend school for even one day in his entire life.

Whatever happened to Redstone?

He mentioned health issues.

Last major screed he let loose about was driving to AZ and kick some ass over the passage of the illegal immigrant bill being signed into law.

I wonder if there's a connection.

in case any of you don't know about the connection between TiT and redstone, here's a quick explanation.

They were college shared a flop house as room mates. They traveled across the US Cleveland, bumming around. They have been lifelong friends tag team trolls.

I don't know about any of TiT's wives but redstones wife is hawt. I'd do her.

Screw the State of California (supreme incompetence)
In April, 2010, I set up a production company in order to write off a few vehicles. Granted, the corporation was a sham and a gimmick, but I did all of the right things.

Yesterday, I got this notice from the State informing me of my failure to pay the $800 filing fee and that I owed $99.99 in penalties and interest.

By nature, I am highly disorganized and thought I might have screwed up. So I asked my bookkeeper about it and she promptly produced a copy of the check. I would never have found the damned thing and probably would have sent another one to the State (first, I would have had to locate a checkbook and probably would have given up on the whole effort).

That got me to thinking about how often this sort of screw-up happens and how many people like me pay twice. Then I put on my TinFoil Hat and started thinking this might be some new revenue stream for our bankrupt State.

Welcome to California, the State of Incompetence.

No, first he would have to come up with $800.
And DUmmy Redstone would not front him the money.
But the story is another fantasy of a hopelessly alcoholic retail clerk.

Thanks for the background info Tucker.  I've read a lot of old threads here on CC, but never saw any pertaining to those two.

I'm gonna have to check those out  :cheersmate: !
