**** you, Texas Monthly.

The only magazine to which I subscribe sold my name and address to the Worst President, Ever Presidential Center.

My DL and passport both list a fictitious address (a trick I learned from a long-gone DUer), all my bills arrive under someone else's name, my vehicles are listed under different business entities, etc. I paid cash for my house. I have always covered my tracks, until now. I am, basically, invisible.

I recently renewed my subscription to Texas Monthly and used my home address to insure proper delivery. That is the only time I have ever used my real name and current (long-term) address in the same instance.

Those sons-of-bitches sold my name and address.

Minutes ago, I received a solicitation via USPS for funds for Asswipe's Presidential Center from the former First Library Assistant/Boyfriend Killer.

And I'm sending it back.

Postage-paid.

Nice comments written in the margins.

And maybe a surprise.

Stay tuned.

2. Seems like this should be illegal.

I gave up my only subscription (to National Geographic) when my kids graduated this year. I wish I was invisible too.
I may try some of your methods.

When you fill out a passport application you have to swear the information is true.
There's even a warning about the federal laws you violate by lying on the application, and it's been made a lot more serious by the Patriot Act.
I imagine a fraudulent driver's license would be a similar case, on a state level.

BEG is probably right, and DUmmy sonoman's lying (well, duh, he's a DUmmy), but when we're sure of his name, we'll turn him in anyway.
The name we have for him right now hasn't yet been confirmed, but it's being worked on.

4. It still is a good read.

As a matter of fact, TM won the award for the best monthly pub' in the USofA last year.

My family was the first Anglo clan to inhabit land west of the Sabine and south of the Red River in what is now Angelina County (1630).

So I can't quit reading it. I always look forward to the next issue.

I am from around Houston, as well.

And my ancestors settled in what is now E Texas (Angelina County) in 1630.

It may well be Tom Wright, aka TiTtyboy, the second-most decorated enlisted man in U.S. Navy history, and the most prolific liar in DUmp history. His writing style bears a very strong resemblance, and of course the lie about 1630 is a TiTtyboy original. A single word causes me some concern:

So I can't quit reading it.
I haven't gone back to review TiT posts, but my general recollection is that he never, ever used contractions.

Like Sonoman, TiTtyboy's grammar and sentence structure were always impeccable, which pretty much put him in a class that included only TiT and Skimmer himself.

We did hear a rumor a couple of months ago that TiT had slithered back into the DUmp. I cannot imagine how he could accumulate over 1000 posts as Sonoman without being detected. I wonder if Skimmer brought him back under a new name, like Pam, or maybe Sonoman has been a TiT sock puppet for years.

Sonoman has made some posts in GD, but I don't remember any other OPs, and nothing at all as TiTyesque as this one.

If TiT comes back full-force, Nutcase nadin can kiss that trophy goodbye.

7. When the movie came out, there were many folks who thought it was...

about me.

I rarely watch movies and never go into theaters, so I had no idea what they were talking about.

Just yesterday, I went to Sonoma Market in bathrobe and slippers. And I am close to being a dead ringer to Jeff Bridges. I finally got around to watching the movie, a year or so ago.

Last year (I think) several people (including some here on DU) who are familiar with my life and music thought the movie about the singer was about me. Maybe I should watch that one, as well.

Life gets curious, sometimes.

11. When is your book coming out?

I suppose I should brush up on my Lebowski. I cannot even remember how the dang thing ends, which is one of the problems inherent with mixing bourbon, great wine, and Humboldt's Finest with a movie.

I do remember, however, the fat guy's portrayal of a ****ed-up vet. That was hard, because I have known quite a few guys like that character.

Good luck with your book sales. Could you PM that link to me? You can count on me for at least a few copies. I am going to try to remember all of the people who thought I was the model. Peter Coyote is one of them, as is The Pretty Pamela, the Late, Great Tom Snyder's partner.

Now, back to my bourbon (Elmer T Lee, the best under $60/btl out there). I can afford better shit than The Dude could.

12. Alexandra has never spoken a word.

Because of unique circumstances (which involved a drowning and a two-year stint at TIRR during which I re-learned everything), I am able to "communicate" with all kinds of special needs people. They seem to sense something within me that they don't get from other 'normal' people. Down's people are drawn to me like moths to a flame.

Anyway, I know a couple from Marin who have a daughter, Alexandra, who is in her early twenties and has never spoken. Alexandra is unable to clothe or care for herself and needs constant physical support in order to walk. Although she is pretty much oblivious to her surroundings, she always listens when I speak. Her parents have always gotten a real kick out of this and have for years. We have always laid it off to the fact that I have a singer's voice, full and deep.

Well, I ran into them on the Plaza in Sonoma a couple of weeks ago and Alexandra was walking between her parents - one parent on each arm.

And she was wearing a pair of really big sunglasses. Her dad told me that Alexandra had experienced a seizure and did a faceplant on their pool deck and had a great pair of shiners (she really had world-class black eyes). He also told me that he thought she was slightly embarrassed and kept trying to take them off.

So I told her that her shades looked really cool on her and that she did not have to fall down in order to wear them.

She jammed them back onto her face, touched my right forearm with the fingertips of her left hand (that has never happened before!), threw back her head and started laughing.

LAUGHING!!

A great big old horsey laugh.

Her mother started crying and her dad and I weren't far behind.

I am pretty well-known in Sonoma and didn't want to be seen standing on the Plaza while crying, so I told them that I had to go. Alexandra then grabbed my wrist (and she was surprisingly strong), started waving her other hand and blurted, "Bye-bye-bye-bye."

**** it, I was crying like a child.

So were Alexandra's parents.

She had never spoken a word, up until that very moment.

When the trinket shop in Tiburon went belly up during the early days of the 0conomy, TiT claimed to be moving to Sonoma, where he would clerk at another garden shop, peddling lawn jockeys and pretentious faux Oriental garden ornaments.

I'm sure that when coach returns, he'll want to be sure his fellow alum was in agreement with the TiT's return. The vile anti-Semitism that TiT paraded prior to his banishment is a principle almost universally accepted at the DUmp, so that would not have been an obstacle for TiT in negotiating his return. But if he's back under false pretenses, abusing Skimmers hospitality by using a surreptitious sock puppet, then Skimmer might take offense.

There's little doubt that Nutcase nadin, Snotspout, Horse with no Brain, and any other DUmmy planning an all-out campaign for Top DUmmy will try to sabotage TiT's return in any way possible. If he's allowed an unimpeded return, he will be unstoppable.

Tommy boy and Sonoman have both incorporated the town in which they live into their user name.

People who think they're smarter than the average Bear leave little clues to see if they can be caught.

TiT may be the most decorated SEAL team member but keep in mind that he did so while serving with the green berets.

Awwwwww, my heart skipped a beat thinking Sonoman was TomInTib.  I have so missed his stories about racists and conservatives coming into his shop and trying to steal or him kicking them out while trying to buy $2000.00 worth of his crapola.

Welcome back, TiT!  I will have a much better day today knowing we can all be regaled with more stories.

Astounding thread.

The (Angelina County) 1630 was a clear tip-off, and further sleuthing by Jakestyle was excellent.  H5.  I did not know the TiTboy in his prior life, but read the famous threads later on, post 2009.

It does seem to fit his personality, to take great pains to hide his identity, efforts seen in movies and paperback novels.  Then, turn around and brag on an idiot board, full of morons and miscreants.  He just can't help but brag.  Falsifying information on a Federal and State level, and then saying to the DUmp, "Look what I've done!  I'm so smart, aren't I?"  It boggles the mind.
