I think it's going to depend on how much Weiner's actions are going to affect Hillary, since his wife works for Hillary and every thing I've read or heard on tv, it's also mentioned his wife is one of Hillary's top aides -
I would think Weiner's seriously hoping for a disaster of some sort to get him off the front page. If he can get off the front page, and someone or something else becomes the hot topic for the late night shows, he'll be ok. If not, it's going to depend on how many of the "big" people - the Clintons and their friends - stand on his side.
He's a liar, and really really stupid...but he hasn't physically cheated. From what I've seen online and heard...he hasn't actually met any of these women in person, right? So, he's only amusing himself - so to speak

- with online chat...that is semi-pornographic. And likes to send pictures of himself - which I heard on tv today from someone who had seen them - Weiner's weiner is - um- substantial...
Most men - and probably women too - are going to lie when they get busted doing something they shouldn't that involves sex and not the person they are either married to, or in a committed relationship. Regardless of what their profession may be. Politicians are no different, they are just more public than anyone else other than an actor...so anyone and everyone with access to a tv or internet, finds out about it.
Weiner's no different when it comes to getting caught and then lying about it. I don't know why people are so shocked. Most people, however, who get caught like this...are able work it out, or not work it out, with their spouse privately, either just between the two of them, or with a counselor or priest/minister. Not only is Weiner a public figure, but so is his wife.
Weiner is just flat out stupid. If I was one of his constituents, I think I would be a whole lot more concerned about his lack of common sense, and his extreme stupidity, than whether or not what he did is or is not, considered committing adultery. I certainly wouldn't want someone representing my congressional district, who is not smart enough to realize that posting pics of his parts on a social network, could ever stay private!
On an almost daily, certainly weekly, we are being warned to be careful of what we post online, particularly using social media. Kids are constantly being warned both at school and by their parents at home. It's on tv to be careful. It's even on the social media websites to be careful!
Makes me wonder if he didn't want to get caught.....
