I wish that had audio.  Watching it pissed me off.  WAITASECOND!!!!!!!!!!!  West Point kicked King out!?!?!?  WTF!?!?  He was standing there when he was attacked by 3 huge guys and pushed into a concrete pillar head first!  How is that his fault?  What a total crock of shit!  The police standing there like groupies waiting for their chance to go on the bus with her!  Holy crap what a total cluster!

It looks like those guys deliberately moved him into a position to slam his head into that column.  Intentional grievous harm is what it looks like to me.
