Of course not - the tale of Gerry Studds should be enough to make it clear that Democrats don't force anyone out for using their office as a podium for sexual abuse.

Could be true -- However, the thing that irks me the most about Studds is that his love interest was a minor. In the real world, adults go to jail for sleeping with minors - in Massachusetts they get reelected over and over again.

IIRC Cohasset - And He had a lot of post-political dealings in New Bedford. With that being said, I don't think '70s Fall River would have put up with that crap - at that point, the city was still mostly Portuguese Catholic, who had absolutely no love for homosexuality.

They are in the fourth district if my google fu is still strong, meaning they got Bawney.

Don't know why I was thinking Studds was from there.  Machts nichts.
