A federal grand jury has indicted two-time presidential candidate John Edwards in a campaign finance investigation.

The case of USA v. Johnny Reid Edwards contains six counts, including conspiracy, four counts of illegal campaign contributions and one count of false statements. The indictment was returned in the Middle District of North Carolina Friday.

If my memory serves me correctly he is also responsible for the flu vaccine no longer being made in the US and in short supply. As I recall he sued the drug companies in a class action suit and won and his cut was something like $60 million so they drug companies stopped making the product, which they were pretty much selling for cost. All of a sudden there was a shortage of flu vaccine and no one knew, or chose to report why......except of course Rush Limbaugh.
