Mr. Mannn, I find that Sara can do one hell of allot more for the country then become president and become almost in prisoned by 200 advisers and those that want to use her for their gain.

This woman is one of a kind, she can do better for us outside the presidency where she would be heckled and stomped on by her enemy's.

Her worth is not in becoming the president but working behind the curtain to pull the strings to keep any president in line.      Sara is a free bird today, she can tell it as she says it.    Place her as president will take her confidence and strength away, force into lock step with the powers that be.

Amazing woman, she may become the most important person in the Republican party for the next 20-30 years.     Free to speak her mind, free to harass the democrats, free to say what every one else is afraid to say.

To even think of placing her in the White House is to cage her, cut short her influence..

Her destiny is to be not the leader of our country but a watch dog on our country's leaders.   No one else can or will do this, we need her to not lead but to make sure we are being well lead.

She may become the cotter pin to keep us from spiraling out of control.

She is more important to us then a 4-8 year president, best she be free to fly as a bird and keep us informed on the ne'er do wells that control our lives.

I also  believe this, Sarah is better off free and able to say any thing
In Tennessee. I came down here to get warm, froze my arse off since I got here..
Just my luck... ;-P

quite a saturation bombing of F-bombs by aviation pro, but in the end, what did he really mean?

I doubt that DUmmie Aviation Pro is/was in the service. Dissing another member of the military over politics like that goes way beyond what you normally see between services and would probably earn him a good ass beating.

Isn't that just another way of saying a woman shouldn't run?  What have you got against strong willed women?

And if Sarah wants to run, who are you to tell her no?

Are you saying you don't intend to vote for her?  Cause I certainly will.
who would you pick right now?
And I've never heard the Presidency described as a prison with advisers for guards.

Supposedly Bush was a chickenhawk because his daughters never served in the wars he started.

But apparently that standard is forgotten with O'Bama.

But the fact Palin is the mother of a combat vet won't even get her a pass to a Memorial Day event.

Makes one wonder what all the fuss over Cindy Loo Hoo was all about.

I did. I went to jump school in August. Spent two weeks running, training, running, sleeping and more running. Monday of the third and final week, landed wrong and screwed my knee up. I was assigned to a holding company and start over. I chose not to.

They cut orders for Ft. Huachuca in AZ. It was a dry heat though. :-) Let me be the first to say Nogales, Mexico sucks.

I spent my time there at Benning in November of '97 in PLDC at the Caro NCO academy, 27 days. It sucked. Royally. We were right next to the Airborne school and 75th Ranger HQ. Running didn't bother me. Nothing bothered me, really. The march up to building 880 everyday sucked. I got tendonitis in my left ankle, then my right. I continued on because I didn't want to be recycled back to my unit at Gordon. At least, that's what they told us. Then, some girl got hurt. Her ass was carted back and forth in a damn CUCV. I suffered though some of the worst pain I'd ever suffered in my ankles, while calling cadence and marching the troops, yet this bitch gets chauffeured like a princess.

...but I don't regret a damn thing. It was an experience for me that I'll never forget and I enjoyed every bit of it. ....even the "racism" charge that was leveled against me by some bitch because I said I didn't want to listen to "bumpin' ass rap" while we were detailing the inside of a building.

I was in Ranger camp for a day. :-)

I was on a detail moving new lockers into the billets and loading up a deuce and a half with the old shit. Holding companies suck too. At least it was only for a few days. They cut my orders and I flew out for AZ on Fri. Got drunk in Dallas. Had a  3 hour layover. There was some festival and beer was a nickle a glass. (This was in 70)

I had the privilege of observing a demonstrative assault on a compound from a Helo rappel into a lake by the Rangers at Benning. They came in, dropped into the water, and you didn't see them again. All the sudden a building blew up on the other side. It was then that I pretty much knew if you wanted maximum effective damage, employ the Rangers. The other SOCOM units are awesome, don't get me wrong, but their missions are all different. Rangers do no send in 4-8 man teams. They send the equivalent of a platoon and above. I hope this doesn't come off as disrespectful, but I see them as Infantry on steroids/Cocaine/Epinephrine/Benzedrine all at once. If I was an enemy contingent, I would NOT want to get intel telling me there was a Ranger unit on it's way.

Hot.  Jesus, don't talk to me about hot.

USS Proteus (AS-19)/USS Holland(AS-32)  2 years, 16 days, 11 hours, 21 minutes of chewing air.

Deconning RWDT (Rad Waste Disposal Tanks) in double anti-C's and a wetsuit in the interior compartment of Proteus with NO ventilation of any kind.

That 100 degree/95 percent humidity air never felt so cool.

Yeah, knowing that I was the object of attention of a company or so of Rangers would cause me lots of stomach acid . . . just before they relieved the pressure on my stomach by double-tapping me.

Climbing a mountain? Must have been up at the 5th Ranger Training Battalion at Dahlonega, Ga. That's where they train for mountainous terrain.

The place was pretty much empty of all personnel. Here I was, a newly minted E2 from basic. Had just dropped out of jump school, being on a shit detail with a bum knee to boot, which was led by some stract black hat MF with nothing better to do that make us hump this shit in the GA sun. At least in jump school they had showers in the field to cool off.

Sounds like Dahlonega. Right north of Lake Lanier in the mountains. About 50 miles north of Atlanta.

I doubt that DUmmie Aviation Pro is/was in the service.

He didn't say whose service, of course.  Maybe he lost his first career when the Red Air Force or PVO Strany went out of business back around '91.
